Important Note: While the Saga Tier Darksaber offers a shorter than battery life than other Level Up Sabers, no similar compromises had to be made with the Budget Darksaber. This saber offers our full electronics set up, including our standard battery. So if you want to do an afternoon of impacts with this saber, it is ready to accept the challenge. The Budget Darksaber accepts only a round blade. The flat blades and adaptors will not function with the Budget Darksaber.

The Bruiser

This is the hilt we recommend for sport duelists as well as flow artists. The handle is a full foot long to accommodate variable grips. With flares at both top and bottom it’s easy to keep control even while wearing protective gloves. The emitter boasts four spots for retention screws to keep the blade secure during a long day of heavy impacts. The extra weight to the handle also helps flow artists and saber spinners.

We do not recommend our Dark saber for heavy dueling, but we are very pleased with the durability of the flat blade and it’s ability to carry light and complete the look for any cosplay from Vizsla to Bo Katan to Djarin (with maybe a stop somewhere along the way for Darth Maul, Sabine Wren, or even Moff Gideon).
Important Note: To make the Darksaber both durable and have a feel more authentic in hand changes needed to be made to the battery and electronics layout. Most Level Up sabers you can expect 4 hours or run time on a full charge. For this Darksaber it is much more common to expect 1 hour of run time from a single charge.
